Wow, there is sunshine in Stoke-on-Trent! If the folk law is to be believed, the end of March will be fierce, but right now, I don't care. The warmth after such a cold few months is so welcome. However it will take a while for the forge building to warm up and it's definitely warmer outside than in. Still, it encourages me to get the fire stoked and bash some metal to get warmed up.
I am currently working on some cycle racks for Stoke Council. The order is initially 2 for Etruria but I have already been asked if I will make some more for other areas in the city. This has been the first time I have worked for the council and it is a very different experience compared to private commissions. Apart from anything else, there are so many people involved in decision making and everything seems to take so much longer.
As always though, however busy I am, I've always got time to quote for a job, so please get in touch if you want some work done.
